Bourbon brownies

Preparation time: 40 min Servings : 20
1 1/4 cup dark chocolate
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 cup bourbon (whiskey)
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tbsp cocoa
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1. Preheat the oven to 338° F. Grease and flour a square 20 x 20
cm baking dish.
2. Melt the butter and chocolate in a saucepan. Let the mixture
cool down for 5 minutes. Beat the eggs with white and brown
sugar. Continuing to whisk, add the melted chocolate and
butter, bourbon and vanilla.
3. Combine the flour and cocoa, and gradually add to the
chocolate mass, stirring constantly.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake in preheated
oven for about 20 – 25 minutes. Do not overcook – the
brownies should remain moist in the center.
5. Remove the baking dish from the oven and let it cool down
before cutting it into squares. Keep refrigerated.
