Date jam scones

1 egg
2 cups flour • 1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup yogurt
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup date jam
1. Preheat the oven to 220 °C.
2. Mix yogurt with baking powder. Crumb butter and flour, then
add sugar and salt. Add the egg and mix well. Then add the
yogurt and mix well again.
3. Divide the dough into 3 parts.
4. Roll out each part into circles 1 cm thick. Place jam on each
circle and fold over one half of the circle over the jam. Cut the
resulting semi-circle into 4 triangles. Place the triangles on the
baking tray covered with cookie sheet. Repeat all the same
steps with the remaining 2 pieces of dough.
5. Bake the scones for about 20 minutes.
6. You can add dried chopped dates to the dough.
