4 egg whites
1 cup white sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1. Mix the egg whites, sugar and salt in a heatproof bowl. Place the bowl
over a hot water bath and mix until the sugar is melted.
2. Remove from heat and whip the egg whites for 7-9 minutes or until
fluffy, stiff and glossy.
3. Add the vanilla extract then spoon the meringue in a pastry bag and pipe
small dollops of mixture on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
4. Bake in the preheated oven at 250F for 1 ½ hours.
5. Serve the meringues chilled.
