Red velvet brownies

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup white sugar
2 tbsp red food coloring
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp distilled white vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
3/4 cup flour
1 cup cream cheese
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1. Preheat the oven to 347° F. Grease a square 20 x 20 cm baking
2. In a large bowl, whisk the butter with sugar. Stir in the cocoa
powder, red food coloring, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp distilled
white vinegar and salt mixing well. Add 2 eggs and mix well
again until combined.
3. Stir in the flour and mix well again. Set aside 1/4 cup the
mixture. Pour the rest of the mixture into the baking dish.
4. Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy; mix in 1/4 cup sugar, 1
egg, and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract until blended.
5. Pour the cheese mixture in dollops over the mixture in the
baking dish; gently smooth the tops of dollops even with the
mixture, using a wooden spatula.
6. Carefully pour the 1/4 cup the mixture over the dollops.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick
comes out clean. Allow the mixture to cool down completely
before cutting it into pieces.
8. After pouring the last part of mixture over the dollops, drag a
knife through the cream cheese layer, creating swirls.
