Strawberry brownies

Preparation time: 50 min Servings: 4
For the butter
1 1/4 cup dark chocolate
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp instant coffee
2 tbsp hot water to dilute the coffee
1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla sugar
2/3 cup flour
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
For the decoration
1 cup fresh strawberries
2 cups whipping cream (or cream cheese)
1. Preheat the oven to 356° F. Grease and flour a square 20 x 20
cm baking dish.
2. Melt the chocolate in a microwave oven. Beat soft butter with
sugar until fluffy.
3. One by one add the eggs, whisking after each addition. Add
salt. Dissolve coffee in hot water and add it to the mixture. Add
melted chocolate and vanilla.
4. In another bowl, mix the flour and cocoa. Then add the
chocolate and butter mixture and mix well until smooth.
5. Bake in the preheated oven. Remove from the oven, let cool
and cut the brownies into small pieces. Decorate the brownies
with strawberries and whipped cream.
6. Decorate with fresh strawberries before serving.
